I've also been looking into third party scripts and codes as well as some full fledged application packages to manage my 'content'. So far, what I've written myself (which is what you are dealing with here) works better for me than any of those. There are no permalinks, trackbacks, nor automated anything (yet) but I don't really need those anyway. The products that are out there are either too complicated, too expensive or just plain don't work right.

I may start my own software company. I think I'll call it "DANG!".
