A man in Kansas who was attempting a kidnapping, stuck his gun into the waistband of his pants and accidentally fired, shooting himself in the... uh... 'daddy parts'.
Yahoo Odd News reports that he then 'cringed'...
Ya Think???
I say it was more like an involuntary attempt to curl up into a fetal position and die very quickly.
In any event, this action caused the kidnapper's gun to fire once again...
No, this time the bullet hit him in the leg.
The guy then walked to the hospital for treatment.
He and two accomplices were later arrested on charges of aggravated stupidity.

Well, I hope a lesson was learned. Store your gun in the BACK of your waistband. Sheesh! :)

That story is going to make it to that book... the title of which eludes me at the moment - you know, the top 10 of stupid things people have done.

Ouch with a capital O .. it's only in the movies that the gun never fires .. all heroes keep it in the wasitband
